It's so nice to know that it says 'OH!' when you step on too. ;) Every time that happens, I'm thinking, 'Oh what? Oh, you didn't expect me to be so heavy? Shut up."

I don't have the book that your talking about but I do have THE BOOK. I find myself meditating in the Word and asking God to make things clear to me. But is their a chapter where it talks about a husband having low self esteem and how his wife can help him through that. My husband was not taught to love himself. He even tells me that- that why he struggles with loving me. I thought if I just kept quiet that he would eventually see that I loved him and he in return would love me. I thought that if I didn't put my thoughts over his, treated him in high regard, and was very sensitive to his needs that he would see it as respect. But he doesn't. He struggles with seeing close to anything I do as respect. He is clouded by his childhood and examples of wives he sees around us or even on tv. I would not even think to treat him like that. But I confess that I really need help. I can't afford the book right now, but I desperately need the help. Can anyone give me pratical ways that I can show him that I respect him?
